Keep WhatsApp on your phone. Add everything else.

Cosend connects your existing WhatsApp Business number to an API, a shared inbox and automations — without moving your number, without a new app for your team, and without a reseller marking up your messages.

  • Free for one number, API included
  • Your number stays on your phone
  • No markup on WhatsApp messages
How a message moves through Cosend The WhatsApp Business app on your phone and Meta's Cloud API share one number. Meta delivers events to the Cosend runtime, which serves your endpoint, your n8n workflow and your AI agent, and sends back out through Meta. same number webhooks in sends out WhatsApp Business app on your phone, unchanged Meta Cloud API Cosend runtime inbox · automation · AI Your endpoint n8n workflow AI agent · MCP
Meta delivers to us and we keep the record, which is what makes the inbox, the history and the automations possible. If you would rather we did not, direct-delivery mode routes events to your endpoint and stores no message content at all — it is a per-connection setting and it is free on every plan.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them touch the phone.

Coexistence is an official Meta capability, not a workaround. Your team keeps answering chats exactly as they did yesterday.

  1. Connect, and keep your app

Coexistence onboarding links your existing WhatsApp Business app registration to the Cloud API. The number is already registered, so there is no registration step and nothing on the phone changes.

  2. Route the API and the webhooks

Send through the Runtime API or through Cosend’s own /v1. Events reach your endpoint, your n8n workflow, or the inbox — and every message you send from the phone is mirrored back to us, so nothing goes missing from either side.

  3. Automate what you were retyping

Office-hours replies, appointment reminders, speed-to-lead, an AI that hands over to a person when it should. This is the layer a router structurally cannot build, and it is why the routing is free.

What you keep

Nothing you already have goes away.

Your number

The same one your customers already have. It is not ported, resold or re-registered.

Your phone

The WhatsApp Business app stays on it and keeps working, at the same time as the API.

Your chats

Existing conversations stay where they are, and up to 180 days of them import once.

Your Meta billing

Meta invoices your WhatsApp Business Account directly. We never sit in the middle of it.

What you gain

The layer a webhook router cannot build.

A router never sees a message, so it can never do anything with one. We keep the record — and everything below is what that record is for.

A Graph-compatible API

The Runtime API is byte-compatible with Meta’s. An existing integration switches by changing one hostname and one token.

A shared inbox

Every conversation on the number, for your whole team, in a browser. The app on the phone keeps working at the same time.

180 days of history

Prior chats import once during onboarding, so the inbox is not empty on day one. Groups are excluded — Meta does not sync them.

Automations

Triggers, conditions, office-hours rules and hand-off to a human. Greeting and away messages too, which coexistence turns off in the app.

AI that knows when to stop

Answers out of hours, books, and hands over. Metered per 24-hour conversation and capped, so it cannot run away with your invoice.

n8n and MCP

A first-class n8n node and an MCP server, so workflows and AI agents can drive the number directly.

For developers

The migration is two lines.

api.cosend.app serves an allowlisted set of Graph paths byte-compatibly. Point your existing client at it and keep your version pin — we forward the version segment you sent.

Two things are deliberately not identical, and both are documented rather than discovered: GET /{MEDIA} returns a rewritten URL, because Meta's would be one your key cannot fetch; and the allowlist is a list, with a reason for every refusal. A proxy that claims to support everything is a proxy that has not told you yet.

Cosend does not charge for WhatsApp messages. Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account directly at their rates. We never mark them up, resell them, or hold your message credit.

Trust

Where your data is, in four links.

Hosted in the EU

The database and the application run in Frankfurt. Media is stored in an EU bucket. Our sub-processor list names every vendor that can see personal data, and what they see.

A DPA you can read now

Our Data Processing Addendum is self-serve — no sales call to get a copy — alongside the Privacy Policy and the Terms.

No markup on messages

Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account at Meta's rates. We could not mark them up if we wanted to — the invoice is not ours to touch.

Storing nothing is an option

Direct-delivery mode stores no message content at all, on any plan, per connection. You lose the inbox and the history; you keep the routing and the API.

Keep the app. Add the infrastructure.

One connection, the API and the inbox, free. No card.
